He is now a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, the co-founder of Spycraft Entertainment film production company, and host of the iHeart podcast, “Mission Implausible.” John served multiple overseas tours as Chief of Station and Deputy Chief of Station in Europe, Asia, and in high-threat environments. John’s articles have been published in the New York Times, The Atlantic and The Washington Post, among others. He is the recipient of CIA’s Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal.
